CMP Fixed Abrasive Polishing Pads

MIPOX has been distributing polishing pads for the Hard Disk Industry throughout the world for over 10 years. In an attempt, however, to diversify its product line, MIPOX has initiated contact with Wafer Manufacturers, CMP tool vendors and Device Manufacturers with the goal of developing CMP polishing pads for both wafer and device polishing.

As CMP is a very delicate process with many variables, each combination of tool, slurry and pad will yield different results. With this in mind, there is a need to test multiple scenarios in order to obtain the ideal process.

Pad Samples

MIPOX will supply pad samples for companies willing to explore new frontiers in pad development, in exchange for data generated during the tests.

Slurry Product: Diamond series

The Mipox diamond series were developed to meet the industry demand for products that would enhance the various head-polishing technologies. By utilizing the highest quality of synthetic diamond powders, low PTR (Pole Tip Recession) and optimal head surface quality is achieved. Thus, Mipox has been able to create a superior diamond slurry product for oil and water based processes.

Lubricant

Product Features

• Low foaming in all water condition to ensure continuous grinding performance.
• Rejects tramp oil to the surface of the fluid for easy removal.
• Excellent lubrication allows for moderate to severe machining.

Recommended Application & Dilution

• Surface, cylindrical & centerlesss Grinding (Dilution level : 3 ~ 5 %)
• Light machine application (Dilution level : 4 ~ 8 %)

Storage Stability

• The product can be stored in sealed original package at temperature between 20°C to 40°C for at least 12 months after date of delivery.
