Buff Tapes
Mipox's abrasive tape product line is comprised of an assortment
of abrasive tape configurations which ensure that our customers
will find a tape which meets their particular requirements.(i.e.

Lapping Film Mipox's abrasive
tape product line is comprised of an assortment of abrasive tape
configurations which ensure that our customers will find a tape
which meets their particular requirements. (i.e. excellent
asperity removal, no disk contamination or scratches.) We offer

Mipox continues to retain the lead in abrasive tape technology
through innovation. We currently offer tapes with varying Tg
(glass transition point) binder values which allow further
product customization. Research is also underway to improve tape
cleanliness.
ALTB 200VT AUTO Tape
Burnish Machine: 
The Tape Burnish Machine is
used after the Lube process to remove particles deposited onto
the surface.
The machine uses a very fine,
fixed abrasive tape to burnish both sides of the hard disk to
ensure particle removal and to reduce surface asparities.

- Removes contamination and particles from disk surface through
patented technology
- Stabilizes and reduces glide height
- Tape is constantly fed, which guarantees a clean polishing
surface for each disk

- Designed for use within Class 10 Clean Room Environments
- Burnishing Tape is interchangeable with other tapes such as
Wiping Tape depending on the application
- Can be used to clean up disk surfaces immediately before Hard
Drive assembly or after disks are assembled onto the spindle

- Final disk cleaning following application of lubricant
- Salvage disks that have previously failed glide height tests
